adidas Raleigh is a USATF Elite Development Club based out of the Raleigh, North Carolina area.
It
was formed in the mid 1990s by the North Carolina
State University track and field community to further-develop
post-collegiate distance runners.
The athletes are runners who are pursuing full-time careers
or graduate studies but continue to train and compete at a high
level. Their goals range from winning local and national team
titles to qualifying for the Olympic Trials and making national
teams in their respective events.
aRTC
is primarily sponsored by adidas with
additional support provided by local businesses including the Creech
Chiropractic Center, Hands on Health Massage Therapy,
HostW3, and Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern.
In addition, aRTC helps manage the Raleigh Relays
and the
All-American Cross Country Camp
in Asheville, NC each year.
